Leisure Skating: Unwind at the start and end of the week by simply skating and enjoying some light
exercise. These sessions are typically quiet and well suited to novice and beginner skaters of all ages.
General Skating: Afternoon sessions normally attract the occasional skater, family outings and small
groups. With the exception of school holidays and weekends these sessions are fairly quiet. Evening sessions generally attract
the more experienced skater and are well attended.
Family Skating: A skating session with a family atmosphere! A great opportunity to skate as a family
and introduce children to the skating environment. Please note Ice Hockey skates are not permitted at the Thursday session.
UK Learn To Skate: If you have never skated before then this is the session for you. This certificated
programme offers 45 minutes compulsory tuition from the resident coaches to beginner and novice skaters of all ages. An ideal
introduction to ice skating which will build your confidence and experience.
Disco Sessions: Reduced lighting and disco lights with music from our resident DJ. These sessions
are extremely popular with teenagers and students. Please note strobe lighting is used during this session.
Please be aware that during the summer months the ice may become damp due to the air temperature and the
volume of skaters.
