Try the SNL

The latest incarnation of the Murrayfield Racers was founded in 2018 and were awarded the Ice Rink contract in the April of that year. The Racers applied for entry to the EIHL for the 2018–2019 season but were ultimately denied entry. In June 2018 the Racers were accepted in to the Scottish National League to represent Edinburgh for the 2018–2019 SNL season, while representing the city in the NIHL North Cup.

Current Directors of Murrayfield Racers are legendary Ex Racers player Tony Hand MBE (Ice Hockey Hall of Fame) / Great Britain Ice Hockey National Development Head Coach and former West Lothian Council councilor Willie Dunn. Together with coaches Jock Hay, Martin Cingel, an army of volunteers and a number of shareholders they are building a team and organisation that they hope will once more bring success to Murrayfield and fans back to see a winning team on and off the Ice.
